Edit your profile

Help your co-workers, managers and first responders connect with you by completing your profile. By default, everyone can add the following to their profile: a name, job description or title, mobile phone number, and emergency contact information.

Who can see your mobile number?

Providing your mobile number in your Share911 Profile enables you to receive emergency alerts and notifications via text message. If you do not wish to provide your mobile number, you will not receive emergency alerts and notifications via text message. 
 
Your mobile number will only be visible to designated members of your Share911 channel, such as administrators or emergency management/security personnel. It is also visible to authorized law enforcement and emergency response personnel. In both instances, we make your mobile number visible in the event that emergency responders are unable to locate you, you are in danger or have been injured.
 
 Who should be your emergency contact?

Your emergency contact in your Share911 Profile should be the person you would want to be notified in the event that you have been seriously injured or are in grave danger. Your emergency contact is not notified when you check in, but rather, this information is visible to designated members of your Share911 channel, such as administrators or emergency management/security personnel. It is also visible to authorized law enforcement and emergency response personnel.
