The Security/Assistance Needed check-in option is the only emergency check-in option that does not go to law enforcement. Rather, this check-in option only goes to those individuals who have the "Security" permission. It is a good idea for several individuals to have this permission.
If you have the Security/Assistance Needed check-in option enabled for your channel, it will appear at the top of the list of check-in options.
If you do not see this check-in option on your channel but would like it added, please contact us and we will add this for you.
After you select that you need security or assistance, you are able to specify the type of assistance needed with the drop-down menu. There are a number of subcategories listed but you are able to customize the subcategories if you have a specific need.
Here are the steps to add a subcategory to the Security/Assistance Needed check-in option:
First, go to the Manage Channel page and select "check-ins."
Second, type in the additional subcategory that you would like to add in the box on the left.
Thrid, click "add" to add your category to the list.
You can see this new subcategory by going to the check-in page and selecting Security/Assistance Needed.
Then select from the subcategories listed under "what's happening?"
After you check-in, you will see your Security/Assistance Needed check-in on the LiveView page.
